HISTORY: 

RE/MAX was founded in 1973 by Dave and Gail Liniger. In 1978, Howard McPherson was awarded franchisor rights for four regions: Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee and Southern Ohio. The first franchised office was opened in Georgia and over 35 years later, RE/MAX Regional Services provides outstanding support to close to 3,500 agents in nearly 250 offices within the region.

Carrie Zeier (Nashville, TN)

Kristy Gooch (Lexington, KY)

Kristy started out in real estate at the age of 19 and quickly realized the value of the RE/MAX brand. After her switch to RE/MAX, Kristy saw a dramatic increase in her earnings as an agent. In 2006 she started her first franchise, and within a year was award Broker/Owner of the Year. In 2010, she began expanding her franchise, and now has three RE/MAX Elite offices in central Kentucky. “You have to work hard and love what you do. The payoffs are marvelous.” Kristy is on her way to dominating her central Kentucky market.

Mike Seagraves (Dayton, OH)

Mike began his career with RE/MAX as an agent in 2002. He opened RE/MAX Alliance in 2006, which has offices in Dayton, OH and Centerville, OH. In 2013, Mike received the BrokerFirst Award, which is awarded to a Broker who focuses on the key aspects of being a leader within their organization and who showcases exemplary usage of the BrokerFirst program. In 2012 and 2011 he was awarded the Owner of the Year for the Dayton area, and in 2010 he earned the RE/MAX Owner of the Year for the Southern Ohio region. Mike “loves the opportunity to see agents work through challenges and finding success — growing into productive RE/MAX agents.” So it is no surprise that he finds the RE/MAX brand and the tools and technology we offer to be the best reasons for being part of RE/MAX.

Larissa Benson (Buford, GA)

Larissa graduated with honors from the Terry College of Business of the University of Georgia, and began her real estate career in 2005. In 2011, Larissa opened RE/MAX Legends, which has offices in Buford, GA and Snellville, GA. Since opening RE/MAX Legends, Larissa and her team have helped over 931 families find their dream homes. She has also used her marketing experience to streamline the sale of REO properties. Larissa has earned dozens of real estate industry awards including Highest Net Gain Award in 2013, which is awarded to the Broker with the highest net gain of agents; and The Showcase Award, which is based on a variety of criteria such as BrokerFirst participation, average Agent commissions and yearly Agent growth versus loss. Larissa’s approach to her franchise is in keeping with her business knowledge.
