"Life" as we know it
Zoës Kitchen is a natural extension of Zoë Cassimus' lifetime of cooking for family and friends. Inspired by Zoë's original recipes and her simple, fresh-from-the-garden sensibility, we start every day by making the food from scratch onsite at each restaurant. Our dishes are wholesome; our portions generous. It's Mediterranean-inspired comfort food with customers' dietary concerns in mind--nothing fried with gluten-free and vegetarian options. Zoë means "life" in Greek. Why not live it to the fullest with tasty food shared among close friends and family?
Zoës Kitchen is redefining the booming fast-casual segment. Since the first Zoës Kitchen opened in 1995 in downtown Birmingham, Alabama, we've experienced steady, double-digit growth across 12 states from Arizona to Virginia. What is it about our 50-plus (and counting!) retail locations that has built an exceptionally loyal following?
Our ingredients are pure and simple. Our Mediterranean-inspired meals are hand-crafted, original recipes from founder Zoe Cassimus. Our menu is loaded with wholesome options that suit our customers' active lifestyles for dine-in, take home and custom Fresh Catering. Our staff is enthusiastic; our environment hospitable. It's a zest for life in all we do.
Our company is built on a philosophy of a balanced lifestyle that includes spending time with family and friends over simple, tasty and freshly-prepared food.
At Zoës Kitchen, we understand the critical role real estate developers play as visionaries: having the foresight to determine what tomorrow's businesses and consumers will need for a thriving community. Site criteria are as follows:
